Aldo Photography Style
Beauty isn’t only physical and a photo doesn’t only portray a person’s physical aspect.
My aim is always to bring out the character and energy of my client(s) in any service.
Just standing before someone with a fancy camera and snapping photos whatever happens isn’t what I do.
I also believe that a photo tells a story.
And I portray all the beauty of a person in a photo, together with their character and energy.
A memory is a story and photos always tells the story of the person (or people) in the photo, whether we immediately notice this or just have a feeling about the photo.
For this reason, I don’t follow the typical Photojournalism style. The basis of my photography can be seen below, but I always find a way to understand and bring out my client(s) unique character which is what make a photo/image truly beautiful an makes a very nice decoration or wall art (or if used in a commercial perspective, in a magazine or billboard).
Well, note of the poele in my photos were/are models or are good at posing. I don’t like or use Posing. One can technically say that I use Anti-Posing. As what I do is give movement directions to you in a way that feels natural. The photos look posed as a photo is a snap-shot of time and the people in my photos look like Models as a comfortable person always look amazing in a photo.
I have a strong belief that through my communication and interaction, I will bring out your character and create photos where you look unique. In my female photography I’ll also make you look authentic.

AldoPics Photography Style FoundationsAs a basis of my work, I use the photographic styles mentioned. The style which is mainly used in a session, depends on the type of photography service/session for you.
I also keep in mind the client’s needs.
The base standard photographic styles I can use is one of the styles below.
Artistic PhotographyIn this photography style, directions for posing are usually given. (You can see my Meet Aldo page on getting a better idea on what posing is and why it’s done) In such cases however, I always keep the photographic session and client relaxed and my aim is always to bring out their unique character or the character they would like to show to people seeing the photos. This style is mainly used in Beauty Shots, Glamour, Work Headshot, Fashion photography.
Lifestyle PhotographyLifestyle photography is in a way similar to artistic photography, but the session is left more natural and poses are only suggested based on the actions done by the client.
A Lifestyle photo session is mainly freeform and I mainly use it in portraiture sessions. One can say that my main style is Lifestle Photography as, unless I’m documenting an event, I will keep the session freeform and only give directions so the poses people take will be more natural looking. For example, one thing I regularly find that I have to do is help the clients to relax, and as I specialise in Women portrait photography, I notice when people aren’t relaxed or comfortable. Lifestyle photography can also be seen as the style which aims to capture and document real-life events, situations, or milestones in an artistic manner and little suggestion/direction is given as said by Wikipedia.
